What is BYOND?
BYOND is a private club for known, authenticated members to buy, sell, and trade Onli Bitcoin. It brings a new way to hold and exchange digital property into one considered experience.
How are the Crypt and Title different?
The Crypt is the cryptographic container that protects the Bitcoin’s private key. The Title is the unique Onli asset bound to that Crypt. They can be held separately, allowing custody and ownership to serve different roles.
Is it secure?
Crypts are created inside a Trusted Execution Environment (TEE). Think of it as a protected area of a computer that keeps sensitive work separate from other software. Onli’s patented technology is designed for sole possession: you alone can possess your Crypt.
Does BYOND hold my Bitcoin?
No. BYOND does not take custody of your Crypt or your Bitcoin. You retain possession. Exchanges take place directly between members, peer to peer, rather than through BYOND holding their assets.
How long have these technologies been used?
Onli began in 2010 and has been reliably used for years. Bitcoin launched in 2009 and has a long history of real-world use. BYOND brings these established technologies together in a new ownership and exchange experience.
Can my institution run its own BYOND market?

What happens when I apply?
Continue to our protected application site to tell us a little about yourself. Then complete identity verification with Didit using an identity document and a live face check. Your verification result is recorded with your application. Identity verification does not automatically grant BYOND membership.

Your identity document and biometric capture are handled in Didit’s secure hosted verification flow. BYOND stores your application details and verification status. Return to the protected application site to check your progress.
